James Lomax was elected to the Alabama House of Representatives in 2022 and proudly represents the people of Alabama House District 20 which encompasses South Huntsville, Hampton Cove, and Monte Sano with a focus on conservative leadership, economic growth, and strong families.

 

He serves on the House Rules Committee, the Financial Services Committee, Ethics Committee, and the Economic Development & Tourism Committee, where he has worked to advance legislation supporting job creation, fiscal responsibility, and accountable government.

 

During his time in office, James has helped champion measures such as removing foreign influence from our elections, growing our economy responsibly, and bettering our schools, always prioritizing practical solutions. A business leader at a publicly traded real estate firm, James brings private-sector experience to Montgomery and remains committed to protecting taxpayers, supporting law enforcement, strengthening education, and defending the values that make Alabama strong.

 

He lives in Huntsville with his wife, Elizabeth, and their two daughters.
